Hardwood Floor Installation

Quality Craftsmanship

Choosing the right type of wood floor is an important decision and will be based on a variety of issues including your lifestyles, décor, and the area in which you live. Whether it’s exotic, domestic, reclaimed, or wide plank, the possibilities are endless within solid wood flooring. We offer over 50 species, both domestic and exotic, spanning the spectrum of color options, hardness, and varying price ranges.

The best wood floor begins with careful attention to moisture conditions, proper subfloor systems, and precision craftsmanship while installing your wood floors.

All materials and subfloors are consistently checked for uniform moisture content. We custom manufacture all of our floor transitions from scratch using the same material as your floor.

We install all flush mount vents/stair nosing/and transitions to ensure a solid professional look for years to come. Subfloors are sanded smooth, debris removed, and drywall is protected throughout the installation process.

The Janka Hardness Scale

The Janka Hardness Scale is used to measure the force necessary to embed half the diameter of a steel, .444 inch ball into the wood. Woods scoring a high rating on the janka scale are considered harder. Because of this the Janka Scale is a good indication of how resistant each wood species is to denting and wear and a useful way to see how hard the wood will be to saw or nail. The Janka Scale is a tried and tested method used worldwide.
